Accessible Venice

Mission: The goal of this project is to assess the level of the availability of information, access, and other initiatives that support people with disabilities in Venice. Objectives: To determine which islands are accessible for people of various disabilities. To analyze the accessibility accommodations within public points of interest (churches, museums, etc). To analyze the accessibility accommodations within public establishments (restaurants, hotels, etc). To develop a plan for extending the best practices that are already in place to the rest of the city. To develop a tool for planning a visit within the city for people with different disabilities.
