Planning and Implementation of Campaigns for the Quantification and Analysis of Venetian Lagoon Traffic

This project provided the Province of Venice with information on traffic flow and its effects on the Lagoon surrounding the island of Venice. Data was gathered at various sites around the Lagoon and analyzed. New and modified routes for public transit and methods to regulate and police traffic are discussed. Finally, a standard for future boat counts that will take place in the Lagoon is provided.
