Monitoring and Analysis of the Cargo Delivery System in the Sestieri of San Polo, Santa Croce, and Dorsoduro in Venice, Italy

Our project focused on the monitoring and analysis of the cargo delivery system in the sestieri of San Polo, Santa Croce, and Dorsoduro in Venice, Italy. We located and evaluated every dock in the three sestieri, while monitoring the busiest docks. From this we were able to determine the location, type and amount of cargo, and the time these deliveries occurred. Based on a detailed analysis of our results alternate routes were recommended in the event of canal closure.
