Dashboard

The dashboard is composed of individual modules, or widgets, that each display different pieces of real time information about Venice. Each widget collects publically-available information from existing web sites, using mashup techniques or API’s. Some widgets integrate statistical techniques to create estimates based on real-time data.Along with the widgets, a banner is occasionally displayed across the top of the page to alert the user of an important event such as waterbus cancellations or high tides.
