Evolution of the Forma Urbis

E Term, 2004

Project Summary

This project divided Venice into proto island sections and dated them by its 175 current or demolished churches; originating a map that illustrates the urban evolution of the city from the 9th century up to 1821. This left behind an archeological information system, which can be used, to further refine data pertaining to the city's history and evolution.
