Project Summary

The unique physical construction of Venice causes delays and challenges for an ambulance to reach an emergency. This project evaluates the current ambulance dispatch system in Venice and proposes an improvement. A prototype of an automated dispatch system that accounts for all delaying factors was created in this project. The prototype is a sample of a system that could be applied to the entire city.
