Summary
The main focus of this project is to evaluate and record the current (as of 1993) state of Venetian public art. This project is the predecessor to "Infrared Reflectoscopy" IQP completed in the summer of 1992. Interviews with architecht Guiseppe Longega allowed them to create a list of factors to judge the priority of public art restoration, as well as forecast costs and formulas. Interviews with Archeo-Venice club president Gerolamo Fazzini provided the group with fund raising ideas for the future.
The background makes this one of many good IQP reports in terms of painting a picture of the history of Venetian public art. The deliverable of this project is a database containing metadata on public art pieces this group computed to be in most urgent need of restoration, including images and geographic location.
